See, by your criteria LSU has "backed in" to two titles in the last decade as well. I personally don't take offense to that term because shite happens and teams lose and drop in the rankings. That's college football. But if you think "backing in" is some kind of pejorative then I guess you're not too proud of those titles you have.

I agree. Which Is why I only care about SEC titles. The one title you can't get voted into and bias plays no part in its participants

SEC titles are nice but after Carolina went 5-0 vs the east and beat UGA in Athens and Still didn't make it to ATL it's not all it's cracked up to be
