I saw this kid in high school. I've never seen a guy with that much talent have such a bad attitude. I get it....his personal situation was a train wreak.. No matter how hard he worked, or the path he took to get to Auburn, his behavior is rooted deep within him.

He can be a superstar.....my guess is he won't be and we will be watching a 30/30 on him in about 15 years.

It was a run heavy scrimmage.

Sounds a lot like Perilloux vs Les; I'm bigger than the team and you won't ever kick me off because you need me too much, so I'll keep doing as I please.

it does sound that way. will be interesting to see if Gus caves or stands his ground.

yeah I thought he'd be a goner after last year, especially considering that he doesnt seem like the type who loves being in college. Doesnt make any sense to go back to school and now to be pulling this crap (whatever it is).

I was pretty baffled he didn't go pro myself

if history is a predictor of the future, he will sit until his team really needs him, then he will play

in other words, he will sit 1 quarter

True. We don't have a soft opener allowing us to bench a starter for a half this year.

Duke Williams is the smartest guy at auburn right now. He doesn't have to practice and there is no way he won't be a game one starter.

Well after today's scrimmage, it's pretty obvious that Sean White was not painting any pictures with his balls.

Derp mode engaged.

Auburn senior WR Duke Williams only dropped two catchable targets last season, according to PFF.

PFF credited Williams with 44 catches (it is 45 in other places), giving him a drop rate of just 4.35. We could not say the same for his former teammate Sammie Coates. It is worth noting that almost every charting service sides with the wide receiver, but good drop rates tend to stay in the good to average range. The JUCO transfer was frequently used in the slot on short and intermediate routes.

The scrimmage primarily focused on running plays and starter Jeremy Johnson threw only "four or five" passes, Malzahn said.
