I've never seen a serious football program bend over and just take it like they are this week.

Nah, Gus broke Auburn. We're just the final enforcer of judgement.

Bama and Auburn haven't played this year. Auburn beat Bama last time they played. Gus "broke" Auburn. Your post is dumb.

Auburn broke last year when they beat Alabama and Alabama still made the playoffs.

What do you call the program who loses to a broken program?

Nick and Kirby pull possibly the greatest troll job ever on auburn last year.

Nick called Kirby and said that Arkansas was trying to hire Gus away from auburn. They both knew it was in their best interest to keep the GusBus at the barn. So they agreed to lose to auburn in the regular season. auburn would be so impressed that they would give Gus a 7 yr/$79 million extension. Then Kirby would beat Gus in the SECCG and both UGA and BAMA would make the CFP.

Brilliant

Uh, rebuilding implies that you're working to get back to a former level

Hot Take: Alabama winning the National Championship last year despite losing to Auburn took a lot of fire out of the rivalry.

You lost to a basketball school that was beaten down by UT at home...

Alabama looks dominant at the moment and Auburn looks Remedial. That is the only thing that has temporarily reduced the fervor surrounding this game.

I also think UGA passing them has had an effect. So much so that they're willing to root for Alabama against Georgia. They can see the writing on the wall that their team is being left.

I am pretty sure UCF broke Auburn. A little success in basketball has started to give the fans something they can feel good about. Unfortunately the very vulnerable fans will have a difficult time accepting what is going to happen when they face Duke tonight.

Bama broke everyone if we’re being honest. In my opinion, Bama’s recent success this decade has drove the other teams and programs in the SEC insane. Nobody else is going to have the success like Bama has had the past 10 years.
