Did you know A&M has by far and away the best all-time winning percentage in the history of the SEC?

Uh, what?

He's making shite up to compensate because he feels inferior (and rightfully so) to Arkansas.

I would argue that the rise of A&M certainly will make it more difficult for any team, including Arkansas, to pull top recruits out of Houston and East Texas.

I disagree. Kids have always refused to go to Arkansas, opting for destinations like Texas Tech and Baylor almost unanimously.

Arkansas will fail because failure is inculcated in its culture. That's what it inevitably does.

The big winner in the A&M to the SEC will be the Liberty bowl as Arkansas will travel heavy to west memphis*( and Memphis) going forward.

Well didn't you know?

It is a fact that A&M stands alone at the top regarding SEC winning percentage -- all time.

And do you see how that fact, just as the A&M-Arky head-to-head record, properly frames A&M's position in the conference and college football in general?

Look up every other metric one uses to judge a program, compares arky to a&m, and get back to me

Ya think that may be a small sample size, there?

You are not bright, man.

Dear child, I said almost unanimously.

Of course every once in awhile an anomalous result occurs where quality college football players -- from Texas and elsewhere -- find themselves at Arkansas.

Ahh...

Now you're getting the idea and also learning the concept of distortion.

Well done.

Titles before WW2 claimed 70 years later don't impress me. Conference titles claimed when you didn't win your division aren't impressive either.

SWC titles after your daddy (Arkansas) left the league also = meh

We still had more SWC championships than you had before you left. And we have more wins, a higher winning percentage, more bowl wins, more heismans, etc

I've always maintained that the program that would suffer the most from A&M's potential success in the SEC was Arkansas. LSU/Bama/Auburn will have to compete for recruits with us, but they are too elite to see a significant drop off just because we are good. Arkansas, on the other hand, doesn't have near the history or recruiting prowess. Before this year, really the only thing Arkansas could pitch recruits over A&M was the SEC. They have gotten some pretty good players from the state of Texas over the last few years, and that's going to pretty much come to a stand-still now. And they don't have nearly the same number of elite in-state recruits as Louisiana and Alabama do to cushion the blow.
