I guess all programs don't really test the same amount of times or don't really punish every offense...

Not really anything there. Mizzou handles stuff pretty cleanly, and if there were something I believe it would have been taken care of.

I'm trying to take a non-homerish view on this, but I realize there's some latent homerism in my opinion, but I don't see a place in which that is tolerated in the Mizzou football program.

so he gets arrested multiple times for pot but just happens to pass all the drug tests given by the program.....hrmmm, he needs to open a seminar for UGA players on how to pass drug tests then....or sell the secret potion and become a billionaire.

Looks like he will have some spare time to sell his potion at the local mall.

Thanks sarcastro. If that's the case, and she doesn't press charges, I'd guess none will be filed unless you get a DA who just wants to go after him because of his name. Anyone else and they wouldn't bring charges. My guess is a suspension for some period of time that ends before conference play begins. Not sure how I feel about that.

I'm really surprised Missouri doesn't automatically file and prosecute domestic violence regardless of victim action or lack thereof.

I hear ya.

ETA - I don't think Mizzou has any standing to pursue it or not criminally. What they do in-house is a different story.

Pinkel doesn't tolerate violence against women well.

Is Pinkel cool with Mizzou players assaulting men? Or are women the only people that don't deserve getting beaten up by football players?

Why do you ask? Is Bert planning on putting some women on the field to make the game safer?

Dumb questions don't get answered, which is why I assume you avoided answering mine.

We don't have another DGB on our roster, but we have plenty of talented WRs behind him that won't get arrested every month or two.

Well, not exactly...

And at least our players aren't LAZY. No work ethic questions here.

When they start a job they damn well finish it.

Exactly, even if he's gone, you're just replacing a guy who out of HS was a #1 Overall, #1 WR, thought to could be the best WR since Randy Moss, but who's actual ceiling was just 2nd Team All SEC.

In 2 games against SC, DGB only had 1 catch for 6 yards, and 0 TD's. I wasn't impressed at all, even Sammy Watkins broke 20 yards receiving against us his FR and Soph years, but like DGB he couldn't find the endzone.

was that intended to sound like a spousal abuse joke? because in light of the thread it sounds like that's what you're joking about.

All DGB had to do was not smoke pot, but he's too lazy to even not smoke pot (or at least go to GNC to get some detox.) That's lazy on a whole new level.

So like I was saying we totally good. Maybe you could select a subset of retarded statistics to help show this?
