State got 34 on LSU last year. LSU had 29.

Our defense is significantly better because we have a great pass rush and Chavis has our DBs playing a lot of press man which Snyder NEVER did.

As a result, we are much better on third down and much better in obvious late game passing situations.

Our run defense is still a concern.

Power teams will continue to give A&M fits

No stat sheet needed. A&M doesn't match up well with LSU and that hasn't changed.

Not going to harp on you for your choice of metric, but our scoring defense this year has been subpar in part because our special teams has been such shite. The average starting field position of our opponents is like the 40 yard line despite one turnover in five games this year.
