Haha I like that it is an Aggy running over another Aggy, and the aTm response is that the guy doing the bull-dozing is going to be so good!
Is the phrase "chalk sharpens chalk"? I think that's it.
LOL.....I'm not sure exactly what safety skillset is on display there in that "drill"

The kid that got ran over just stood there flat footed. it was a special teams gunner drill I believe. The rest of them don't look like that lol.

It's like I said when the hire happened and like it has been confirmed since then. Sumlin hired Chavis because Chavis knew how to stop Sumlin. So, that is likely what is happening.
It is a pretty ingrown coaching philosophy, though.

Defense has gotten so much better, fans and analysts are now wondering if the offense is taking a step back as much as the defense is stepping up. I hope its a case of the defense just flat out dominating.
Maybe A&M's offense hasn't figured out Chavis's scheme yet?
Doesn't mean the Aggie Defense is suddenly great. We will need to see that in a game against a good offense first.

That quote is referring to the fact the secondary hasn't changed personnel during practice. Obviously it has changed since last season

Chavis' defense didn't fair so well in Texas court today........

The more good SEC teams the better. Competition breeds excellence.

Damn it, agregime, why would you start a thread like this just after the gauntlet drill video was posted. Ags are going to have to prove it on the field during the season, not talk or write about it .

No.
Our defense doesn't have a chance against high powered SEC offenses, especially with 3rd and Chavis coaching.
Opposing offences should take the week off and chug beer for their pre-game meals prior to playing the Aggies.

Was that DB the same one Bugga pasted to the ground?

Well it should, Chavis knows how to beat aTm! Why is this a big surprise to aTm fans.

Those Aggies scare me after watching that drill. I hope we don't hurt them.
