Are y'all just in complete denial?
I don't think you get it.
This is going to be bad, and you need to prepare yourself.

I think everyone agrees giving rival schools immunity to testify against rival schools is overall good for the SEC and will never be abused IMO

Nah.

And for the most part, I'm ambivalent about whatever the NCAA chooses to do to Ole Miss, as an institution and competitor.

What I'm not ambivalent about, is what they do to Ole Miss fans. I hope they level that collective of hatchet wounds, and make them spend a decade crying crocodile tears. Now that, that I look forward to.

Crocodile tears would mean we didn't mean it when we cried.

As a lifelong Ole Miss fan, I've dealt with our team being absolutely terrible a lot more than them being relevant. I think you are going to be disappointed if you think making us continue to fight out last place in the West with Arkansas and State is going to destroy Ole Miss. Grove will still be the best tailgate in America. the Mannings will always be the first family of football, and we'll still have the most beautiful coeds. So essentially things just go back to what they were before Freeze got hired. Just means that instead of an SEC team actually being able to beat Bama, they'll go undefeated until Saban retires. Auburn might have a shot the next few years, but LSU won't with Coach O and nobody else has a prayer.

That's the point. They'd be insincere tears, because you chuckleheads know that you deserved every single thing you get.

Yeah, its kinda like when your wife is mean to you, then cries a little bit when she acts like she regrets it, even though we all know she doesn't really regret it at all and is just trying to put on an act.

So cheating is justified as long as it puts you in position to beat Bama? There is nothing wrong with wanting to compete with the elites of college football but how can you take any pride whatsoever in the program when you have to cheat to do it? This is a sad and pathetic mentality to possess regardless of team affiliation. I mean those 2 wins over Saban were really worth the disgrace that is raining down on your institution?
