Absolutely LOVE Dee Ford (nohomo)
heck of a player, from what I can tell, even better person.
real smooth too!

Also, it's really fun when watching a game and Dee makes a sack you can yell "He got the DEEEEEEEE!"
or when you feel it coming "give 'em the DEEEEE!"

then again, I've got the mind of 13 year old, so maybe it's just me.

As a Bama fan, I'll be honest....

I was glad to see AU have players drafted in the 1st.

Now, you guys have to replace that talent.

Congrats to all the 1st round players from Alabama and Auburn.

I heard Dee Ford on sports radio in KC this morning. My favorite quote:

"I'm gonna be a Chief my whole life, man. Don't trade me."

he'll be good for the Chiefs

that was a solid pick when they couldn't get the offensive guys they wanted

you could do a lot worse than having that mean mofo on your D-line

He fricked everyone's O line up.

There was 3 times more Dee Ford than there was Clowney in the MSU backfield last year.

I wonder if the British Dee Ford will end up a chiefs fan now too. You know there's gonna be a surge of KC fans trying to follow Dee and she's gonna get all confused again

KC fans I suggest you do some research on Dee's twitter account.

You picked up a new fan across the pond.

Tamba Hali is getting old and injury prone now, Dee Ford will take over just fine for him in another year or so. Another big time weakness was the Chiefs situational pass rushing, something he can contribute on immediately. When Justin Houston and Hali both went down, the Chiefs took a nose dive, couldn't get any pressure on the QB, this pick will also help insure that won't happen.

Hali also has a large salary cap number, wouldn't be surprised to see him get cut. This was a long term move by the Chiefs.

KC doesn't have a 2nd round pick... Ford would have been gone by the 3rd round.

The Falcons have already said publically that they were trying to trade up to get im so he was going in the 1st regardless.

As far as situation pass rushing goes, it won't get much better. The guy is extremely explosive off the line with his hands and feet. Hope he does well.
