I don't get where this whole "upswing" thing comes from, as if Ole Miss or State has had ANY sustainable success in the past half of a century. What, do you think you're gonna win five SEC games next year? Then six the year after that? Then seven!? Get a fricking clue dude.
And we didn't have to change the mascot. We chose to. I don't see why y'all think we're bothered by that.
