Yes, they are. But you would have to ask yourself, if they have all that talent, why can't they beat Alabama?

Good Gawd Almighty...well maybe we luck up on fluke #4 this year...I think a comet streaks across the sky that day.

I think Tennessee claims WRU, at least for the SEC, with 6 NFL WRs and 3 TEs.

Probably Punter U as well.

4 and 2 since 2008, though. Things seem to be getting a bit tougher as of late. I mean, Until fairly recently, Alabama was going through a down cycle. Since both programs have been the elite programs in the SEC, LSU has had problems with them. IF you guys have more talent than everybody else, you would probably have to look to the coaching staff. (Not pointing directly at Les Miles, mind you, but perhaps some of his assistants?) What do YOU think is LSU's biggest problem? Once again, LSU is DEFINITELY a premier program and it sounds kind of funny saying they have a problem, considering the amount of success they have had....but what do you think they need to do to get over the hump and win another Natty?

2005-2007 top 10-15 O
2008-2012 mid 80's O

I'll take a stab at it and say...maybe an OC?

For the quick notes:
2008 we lost one of the most talented QB's I've seen at LSU (RP) then we found out Crowton can't develop a QB. In hindsight he should have been fired after 09 but Les is loyal, to a fault. The horrendous of 2010 was too much so he hired a pretty good OC...unfortunately, just before 11 season, he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. We had a sick OC and an OL guy pretending to be an OC for 20111 and 2012. There is a reason we are pumped for 2013 (Cameron) and relish 'being in decline'.
