I've never understood why the Aggies get stuck on this.
University of Arkansas is technically "The University of Arkansas - Fayetteville" since they've added campuses to the system.
Occasionally people who went to places like Arky State will point that out. Partially it is to imply that Arkansas is a university that primarily serves the NW corner of the state, and that the NW corner of the state "isn't really Arkansas".
I find none of the above to be insulting.
ETA: You will sometimes hear it referred to as the "University of Texas at Fayetteville" since our undergrad population is around 30% Texican at this point.
Its funny, but nothing I find offensive.

By not retaining RC and not leaving the facilities as in, A&M is making a commitment to being better than good.

A&M is going to try and hire a coaches who has either already proven to be great or is on the cusp of doing so.

Texas is likely the best baseball program of all time. Great programs go through a bad season here or there and recover just fine. A program like Texas will have more highs than lows no matter who their coach is. They'll also always draw interest from some of the better coaches in the game.

He had a good run but never could take the program to the MUCH NEEDED next level. At some point there must be a change if it continues to stagnate.
