Van Horn is certainly welcome to his opinion.
Most coaches in the fraternity have each other’s backs, so his sentiment is not the least bit surprising.
The trajectory has been headed downward; there’s never an excuse for the season Childress had this year.
Ultimately Texas A&M University decided it was time to move on.
From everything I’ve read, Ags wish Childress the best.

Van Horn had to build up the Arkansas program. Once he did we go to Omaha about every 2-3 years.

What point are you trying to make? Good isn’t good enough. We’re hiring a top tier coach and improving facilities again.
DVH is good. He’s done it a long time. He’s not what we’re looking for, sorry.

He went to Arkansas. He isn’t going anywhere. We have better facilities in baseball as well (just like basketball) compared to the Faggies

TAMU seems to think that Arkansas has been trash during DVH tenure. I think we are tied for 2nd in CWS appearances in the SEC during his time here.
