I hope you are correct, but the guys behind there starters are just as good, if not better.

Urban's worst offensive year was better than all but one year of the combined Boom-Mac experiment
And that was with a center who regularly put the ball on the ground, bless his heart.
Makes you wonder just how godawful Muschamp was at recruiting offense, doesn't it?

I guess it is a devil's advocate kind of thing, but as a fairly neutral person towards Florida, you guys haven't been recruiting as well as when Muschamp was there.
Nor as good as Georgia under Richt, let alone with what Smart is doing there (jury is still out on his coaching, not his recruiting).
Then you have Alabama (you know that story), LSU gets great classes just by having a coach that is breathing.
Wouldn't be surprised if some NFL scout or retired head coach got a wild hair to nose around and rate rosters if Alabama, Auburn, LSU, A&M, and Georgia all had better talent than Florida right now. Of course that has nothing to do with coaching or developing players, just rating talent.
You'd better hope Kirby is a flop as a head coach. Because unless something changes in Gainesville you guys aren't bringing in the kind of talent you need to beat teams like that. Counting on bad coaching by the opposing coach can only take you so far, eventually you do run into the Sabans of the world.
And out of conference, eh still not sure how good Jimbo is, but he definitely recruits at a higher level than you do now.
