Ole Miss total case revolves around Leo Lewis not being credible. Not all the other level 1 infractions, but the fact it was an MSU player, outing him in the media, then fighting like hell to be sure it's accused lawyer's name isn't released or made public.

Their fans are still deep in denial. Over on the OM board they have a thread where posters are saying Lewis is being held out of camp because he is facing punishments when a simple google search turns up Grantham talking about how Lewis is doing in camp last week.

Guys, we prolly not getting a 2 year bowl ban...Lots of issues with the investigation, immunity, etc. NCAA will settle for the one year plus additional schollies maybe up to 20, and all the other shite we have already given up. Freeze and Barney get hit with show causes and other coaches will be suspended. Y'all acting like we trying to get away scot-free. We have self Imposed a lot of shite and will get more. But I think we head into this offseason done with our bowl bans.

Here is the thing, the Ncaa was investigating Ole Miss, not Leo Lewis. As the investigation went on the Ncaa eventually asked to speak to several players. They obviously already knew something.
They came to Leo, not the other way around. Ole Miss fans can't seem to understand that. When you are an 18 year old kid sitting in front of these intimidating men with notepads and asking you to tell the truth about your recruitment, you are going to speak up out of fear. For Ole Miss fans to jump on Leo is dumb.
