Lol I have never been to SPS before now. Thanks for the link pank.

I love the thought process behind Morrow canceling his State visit to check out Arkansas. They are claiming its because they are so deep at WR. Arkansas is probably twice as deep at WR as State.

Morrow didn't cancel his visit to State, just rescheduled it to Jan 28th. Word is that Arky is telling Morrow he can come in and start this fall.

So far, that's what I've heard about every single recruit that looks like MSU is missing out on.

Too me....it sounds like where ever you're getting your word from is doing damage control.

Considering we are returning our top 4 WR's from the last two years I would highly doubt that is what we are telling him. Sounds like made up message board speak.

More than likely we just simply pointed out that we had 5 receivers that finished with over 500 yards this season. Stuff like that is pretty impressive to a WR recruit.

Dan Mullen is the WORST recruiting head coach in the SEC, but one of the BEST X's and O's coach.

Do you guys agree with this statement?

I don't think we know enough about him to say either way at this point.

totally disagree with this.......why is State ranked in the top 25 in recruits if he's the worst?

Our ranking is about to drop into the 40's

We have had our top 4 prospects either decommit from us or commit to another school.

If this class continues to fall apart all the way to signing day, then yes on the first part.

Can't say he's one of the BEST x's and o's coach in the SEC just yet though. I've seen him make some just terrible decisions on gamedays.

I'll admit that he's a good overall coach and a really good x's and o's coach.

Really? Terrible?

He won 9 games at Mississippi State, and in two years took an offense that was not even in the top 100 in America into a top 50 national offense.

Yes. Terrible. And if it weren't for Ole Miss, he would be winless against the West at MSU.

The LSU game of both years are a good example of his terrible decisions. You have Anthony Dixon and 1st and goal from like the 2 and you only run up the middle one time? He tried an option and a jump pass with Anthony Freaking Dixon in the backfield.

Then go back to the LSU game this year. He comes out with an on-side kick and then tries to throw it three straight times after it was PROVEN that LSU couldn't stop your read-option run game. Then remember him subbing QB's back and forth every time one of them got into rhythm.

That's only two things off the top of my head....I'm positive I could think of some more as well.

You guys are running that into the ground as if Auburn, LSU, Bama and Arkansas haven't been any good the past two years.

Didn't say they weren't. But what I am saying is that this whole "9 win season" deal the MSU fans are throwing up is extremely overrated in ya'lls case.

....and Auburn and Arkansas weren't great teams last year by any means. Yes.....I'm quite aware that Auburn beat us.

Our fans are just happy to have had a winning season and gone to a bowl. I doubt any of our fans were expecting a 9 win season just like your fans weren't expecting a 4 win season this year.

FWIW we ran it up the middle with Dixon twice, tried the jump pass, and then the failed option that should have been pitched to Dixon but our midget qb made the wrong read. Two of those plays should have been TDs I dont see how that is terrible play calling by Mullen.

That was the Auburn game and it was a GREAT call on the onside kick, Tyler Russell just made some bad passes we weren't running THAT good against Auburn to say they couldn't stop our read-option.
