He's not all that knowledgeable about football. Keep him in basketball. He's pathetic as a football announcer/analyst.

damn time that LSU finally DOES get a voice in SEC affairs. We all know what SEC and NCAA officials kneel in front of Saban. So at least we finally get a 'little' time in.
As it is, we're gonna have to put up with all the 'shama puke and feces as long as they're in the SEC Network.

But it just isn't true. LSU does not have a true rival. The closest would be Ole Miss, Tulane and possibly Texas A&M, but not 'shama. And the first two of those had their heydey in the 50's, 60's and 70's. A%M in the 60's, late 80's and early 90's.

Good hire. bama fans don't like him because he calls their fanbase out every chance he gets. I will take Brando over finebaum eight days a week.

This is spot-on analysis, except for calling him great at basketball. Hopefully, his presence will be confined to men's basketball, though even that is a disappointing fact. He loves him some him and thinks his corny one-liners are funny. I have to watch Saints preseason games on CST with the sound down because I can't stomach listening to him.

It's not a great get. It's just a get. He had no TV gig as CBS didn't renew him. He was, as far as TV is concerned, unemployed. They likely got him for a lot less than Finebaum, Tebow, etc.
