This is some multidirectional spin. Ignoring that it was a parking lot fight, a few punches to the body of someone on the ground. Then also ignoring the fact that they had weapons, and were firing them, on a campus.

I agree that the one game suspension was weak though. I think he should have gotten 6-12 games depending on this evaluation. During that time period he is closely monitored with constant councilling.

They sat there just HAMMERING Ole Miss for defending Freeze and then immediately defend someone whos done way worse than pay recruits. Men who hit females should be under the jail, not getting sucked off by losers shaking cowbells.

Pretty sure the "weapons charge" was reduced to a misdemeanor as well.

Well if he wasn't MSU's golden recruit, it would have been a felony. Don't kid yourselves

Actually, that just isn't a felony offense. Even before looking at the full video and considering the situation.

I agree with that. I think letting him in is fine...and he should have had to redshirt the year with counseling.

Link? Everything I found is they still face felony charges.

So far MSU has compared the 5 (worldstar) mama beater to a drunk arse-grabber and now BB gun thugs. Real gangstas, those two.

That's what they do. They rationalize their shitty team by claiming to take the moral high ground, but they are no different than anyone else. Hell, they're still on probation from their last NCAA investigation. That fact conveniently gets forgotten

This is ignorant. Also, OM has a current player who was kicked off another team for sexual assault.

Regardless, it's the judicial systems place to charge them for criminal offenses. It's the university and NCAA's place to charge for NCAA violations. One isn't even covered under a government branch, completely different.

This is just swell. The video is much more like the hostile pie bake off with Aunt B in the Andy Griffith show than a Worldstar thug video....

Just not true. Also, have we mentioned that we self imposed a 1.5 year suspension on Redmond for 1k in benefits? Literally the first offense in your NOA is 8k and you basically offered up less punishment for that and like 30 other offenses.

Miles Hartfield. But this is spin because documents are sealed. The thing is he didn't do any jail time while 2 former players off his HS team did....so if he had been anything butt (pun intended) involved first hand (another pun intended) he would likely have been in the pokey (I am on a roll) with his former team-mates.
