That's exactly what these fools are doing and this kind of "hopeful enthusiasm" most often comes back around to bite them in the arse!

That being said, outside of Starkvegas, who WOULDNT prefer Jeremy Johson to Dak Prescott?

I prefer Dobbs over either on of those B-teamers.

He played a half against a green secondary who improved throughout the season. His numbers most likely would look different had our game been played later in the year.

But he was productive in that game so I'll give him that.I wouldn't hang my hat on that half of performance though.

No hate, just saying if someone is judging this kid on his half against us,then someone might be disappointed.

The hype surrounding Johnson is more than that single half, but he stills hasn't done anything consistently nor in a pressure situation. I suspect he'll be fine, but it would be silly to think anyone other than Auburn fans would take Jeremy at this point.

Time will surely tell. I've gotten the chance to watch JJ in practice some and there is no doubt that he was better than NM last season.

But I'm sure the locker room would have disintegrated had NM lost his job.

Anyone that would take Johnson over Dak at this point is hilariously stupid

Dak really impressed me last season in Baton Rouge. Had been some time since I saw someone carve us up like he did in TS

LSU is the last school I would expect to recognize quality QB play. Prescott probably looks like Johnny Unitas compared to your current QB depth

Why do Auburn fans act like they've had great QB play for years? LSU's QBs this century has been better than Auburn's.

I want both! As long as one is riding the bench he can't be playing against you.
