Johnson may very well be a better QB, but there is no rational reason to think so at this point. Let's actually, you know, watch him play for a few games.
You can see this shite coming from a mile away!....and when this kid falls on his face, the Auburn minions are gonna howl.

At least we have actual game tape of Johnson. Bama fans annoited Coker the messiah before he ever left FSU and he's not likely to start in his 2nd year on campus

LSU is the last school I would expect to recognize quality QB play. Prescott probably looks like Johnny Unitas compared to your current QB depth

@AllbrightNFL: Small sample size, but the more I watch Auburn QB Jeremy Johnson, the more I'm convinced there's a potential future #1 overall pick here.

Before 2014, I would have thought any decent quarterback in a Gus offense would almost automatically do better than even an experienced State QB. Then State and Dak had a top 3 offense in SEC history, and likely will have another very good offense this year. So I'd choose Dak.

He played a half against a green secondary who improved throughout the season. His numbers most likely would look different had our game been played later in the year.

But he was productive in that game so I'll give him that.I wouldn't hang my hat on that half of performance though.

No hate, just saying if someone is judging this kid on his half against us,then someone might be disappointed.

There's this guy named Drew Brees and I think he knows about Purdue football.

On the topic of the thread I would take dak over marshall much less his backup. Dak was and still is a heisman canidate as long as his team doesn't play like complete shite ( which they probably will). Anthony jennings looked good against arky in that game winning drive his freshman year and we see how he turned out the next year.
