It's such a crazy dynamic, speaking of Mullen. I really don't hate him as much as some OM fans. He's just playing to his fanbase with all the trash talk because he knows who signs his check. If he would just get a signature top 15, even top 20 win he could maybe get lured away and State could get their golden boy Hud, who I think could be someone to take state to the next level tbh.
I'm of the opinion that Hudspeth is gonna have another 8-10 win team and will be heavily involved in the annual coaching carousel in December/January.

So many people I "know" from HB that are USM fans just despise us. I have some close friends who I'm sure just temper it around me bc I'm not obnoxious but if we get into a heated discussion you can see it start to come out. They are just bitter, childish, unrealistic fans. Not all are bad people, they just grew up with parents who instilled in them the hatred of OM. I could literally rattle off 2-3 dozen people I grew up around or with in HB and oak grove who fall into this category.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Dak pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

interesting. Most of the USM grads I have known I found out they were USM grads "accidently?" Except for my wife and brother-in-law. I have never heard one of them tell anyone they graduated from USM. I work with some nurse practioners who were also USM grads. Never realized they graduated from there till I coincidently found out. That's really sad y'all.

Why does it constantly float from "Mullen is the suck" to "Mullen may be a pretty good coach -- but he's just dying to get on the first train out of town." Which is it? Who is going to "lure him away" from us at this point? Who is going to outpay us? Who is going to do all this while being more patient than us -- and investing more heavily in his vision than us? Our future with coaches is secure and has been for a long time.
Hudspeth is probably going to win 10 this year. May win 11. And I'm glad it's not us having to see him in the noncon. Of course his name is going to be hot -- it already has been. He may end up jumping this year. Who knows? I know ULL has invested heavily and it's going to take a pretty good job in the power 5 to pull him. I'm not having this endless argument again about stuff that I have heard from his own mouth -- but there are very few places in the country that we couldn't call him home from.

Hud's team is very salty this year, we'll see how they do against Ole Miss but I wouldn't be surprised to see Boise get an arse whipping in a few weeks.

Engie has reached coondawg34 status with all of the "people he knows" and "inside info". I used to not mind his posts, but it's turned into the same crap over and over and now I can't stand to see his name beside a post. If only he could just chill and take things more lightly, like this was a message board or something...
On a side note, newborns don't sleep. I've been sitting here watching this baby cry forever and I haven't grown boobs with a milk supply. I'm calling on you to help god, but so far no luck...

Haha yeah being "more patient". If not for a couple of plays against big bro last year, y'all would have ran Mullen off. Literally all I heard last year from the start of the season until 98% of the egg bowl was about how Mullen had peaked and it was time to move on to Hudspeth. Now y'all are committed and Mullen is a god. Get real kid, nobody believes your worthless bullshite anymore. No you didn't hear this shite and you know it. You heard a few (very few) posters saying that and those are still saying Mullen has things to prove. He was never being close to run off stupid. You are every bit of what you say about engie. Your own fellow fan base posters can't stand you. You give all of OM a bad name.
