I agree with you. I really do. But I can't say I've never done the same thing. I was fortunate I didn't get a DUI but I've definitely made the mistake of driving after I had been drinking.. Dak is a good dude. He's been very nice to me and my family and knew the whole we were Rebels.
I hope he learns from this (and he will) and continues his path to the NFL. I'm still rooting for him. Especially now that's he not wearing that awful Maroon.

So in a few short weeks, some MSU fans have went from chastising Speaks for driving drunk.........to dogging the police when Dak did the same thing.
The homer effect is in full force for some. Glad to see some peoples moral compass can be tainted by the school someone attends.

I always wonder how some of these players can't get Away with this. The cops are actually doing their job, but assumed he would get a pass and maybe just followed home and "don't do this again, Dak. Get some sleep."

It amazes me the comments by black bear fans. First of all, Dak was not in a brawl. He got jumped by a gang known to cause trouble. Secondly, while Dak made a dumb mistake which you seem to love, I notice you don't mention Chad Kelly who actually did do THUG things. You know, like refusing to leave a bar where he was causing trouble. Or punching a bouncer in the face. Or getting pulled over and refusing to get out of the car then swinging at a cop and kicking a cop. You want to compare those two, really? By the way, how is Mr. Spice doing, you know, the guy you paid for who jumps out of windows before the draft. You got bigger issues than we do not to mention the ncaa on your arse.

You MSU fans do nothing but bash every one of our players/fans/coaches for every single little detail they do. And claim ya'll are running a program without all of this kinda stuff. Then a guy in Dak that has been anointed the Crown Jewel of MSU sports gets busted for the same thing that one of our players just did where yalls fans did nothing but bash him. But now all of a sudden it's "oh everyone has driven drunk before" and blah blah blah.
