So....once again....another example of the "gold standard" at msu is beating ole miss.

Congrats....he beat a couple of absolutely terrible ole miss squads and one good team but still coached by Houston nutt.

Too bad Dak couldnt get that orange bowl win over GT. Would have been the highpoint of his career at MSU.

I know fricking football fine. Cutcliff worked with two Mannings that were groomed since birth to be QB's. That says nothing of his ability to actually develop a QB. Mullen has taken kids like Chris Relf who no one knew about and destroy teams with him. Outside of two Mannings who has Cutcliff coached?

Exactly. Check out Mullen at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, and now Miss St. If I'm not mistaken, he had at least one QB he coach break records at every single school he coached QBs at. His track record for college QBs is one of the best right now.

Gator Bowl 52-14 over Michigan.

But one play hardly made the difference, as the Bulldogs could do whatever they wanted on offense. Quarterback Chris Relf completed 18 of 23 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 36 yards.

That game was a disappointment, but a deadly illustration of the flexbone with the right personnel.
