Dabo is never going to be HC at Alabama

I love it when people speak in absolutes on topics they know absolutely nothing about.

Is Dabo also going to be recognized for the 2016-2017 National Championship?

Yes, he's clearly proven he's capable of winning on the biggest stage in college football.

To be fair he has been in a tight National Championship game himself. A few football plays in either direction change everything.

I think the Stadium Apartments own those couple of lots

Those lots behind Stadium Apartments actually belongs to the University. I lived there during my time at UA and once parked there because some idiots filled up our spaces. Damn UA police gave me a ticket!!

I was a walk on when a majority of these guys came in and actually a year behind Dabo. They won't call out all of the individual names, but will call the captains and of course Coach Stallings!! You won't hear any boos.

y'all are gonna be so mad and so tired of Dabo beating y'all by the time Saban retires

I do kinda feel bad for Clemson fans. You FINALLY gain some relevance, only to face what is essentially a ticking clock knowing your HC is GONE like a shot as soon as Saban decides he’s won enough championships. Given Saban propensity to hire coaches with enough time for him to train them on “The Process”, Dabo could be gone A LOT sooner than Clemson fans realize.

The funny thing is, I feel like LSU is going to get Fisher at some point and time so the whole Fisher/Dabo rivalry will carry on with both coaches and programs. The rivalry will get taken to a whole new level... and just imagine if Petrino finds his way back to the Sec (as I think he will).... things could get very, very interdasting in the near future.

Sure. Since he won't have to walk far to celebrate it.

Real question here, how will Bama fans react to hosting the opposing coach of the team that just beat them in the title? Positive? Mixed? Negative?

My guess is pretty overwhelming positivity. He's an Alabama guy who openly still loves Alabama, he beat us fair and square and has done us proud. We wish we won the game but if we had to lose people were happy for Dabo.

It is a unique situation for sure. Coach of team that we've played for last 2 national titles and current #2 to our #1 being honored at midfield of one of our regular season games. That probably hasn't happened often in CFB history.

He's mad because Dabo passed the interview phase with Alabama. He's in the five year waiting phase.
