Why would we boo him? He's one of us.

How many national titles did Bryant and Stallings win before coming to Bama?

Irrelevant. Chip cake walked through the Pac10 twice and had a chance to win a national championship twice and couldn't finish the job. The 2010 National Championship was one of the worst coaching performances I have ever seen.

And Stallings won one. How many did Saban have?

Clemson plays Friday night

Have any two SEC teams ever played each other in a regularly scheduled game on a Friday night?

Bryant's 1950 Kentucky and 1956 A&M campaigns are proof he could win anywhere. Kentucky had one close loss to a REALLY good Tennessee team, and beat #1 Oklahoma in their bowl game. '55 A&M finished 9-0-1.

Bryant won everywhere he was a head coach.

Stallings was different as he was pretty well removed from college football when he came to Alabama. Alabama wasn't the doormat that it was pre-Bryant though. Curry wasn't a great coach, but he won a share of the SEC in 89 and finished with 10 wins.

I will help you out. Bear and Gene never won a NC before Bama.

Nick won one at L6U.

is it not obvious?

I mean you're a rational guy but you know for damn sure some of the folks in BDS are...uh, not quite as "refined". And those type of folks will look past his alum status and think "hey that's the guy that beat us in teh title game last year!" These same type of folks will often have a "if you aint with teh tyde you aint shite" attitude, so although dabo is "one of you", to these folks he is still the enemy.

Four other Clemson staffers that were on 1992 Alabama team will be there too.

Woody McCorvey
Danny Pearman
Thad Turnispeed
Lemanski Hall

Clemson DB coach Mickey Conn was on the team too but isn't listed.

Clemson also has one other Alabama guy. Todd Bates coaches the DL. But he played under Fran/Shula.

He is, but, apparently, most of our fans love clowns.

If he's still winning when Saban retires, I guess I'll accept him.

Sorry you'll have to soldier through the hiring of a young championship coach.

Since he is the head coach at Clemson but won't want to wear Clemson stuff or Alabama stuff, I have a shirt for Dabo that will please all his constituents.
