I think Saban will probably squeak out two more NC's, perhaps more, before he leaves Bama. He, Miles, or McElwain are most likely to send Urbs back to the pretend doctor.

Any speculation about Dabo, who's been cutting his teeth in the worst conference in the nation, is just foolish.

A better question or topic would have been regarding why Kaylee Hartung doesn't get as much fame as some other sideline / sports reporters. She's easily on par with Jill Arington, Erin Andrews, and others that seemed to have bolted up the popularity spectrum during their time on the sidelines.

I bet you can't name one other realistic option that would be better than Dabo after Saban.

Who cares.

We will protest if they even think about Dabo Swinney, and with Bear Bryant as my witness we will know if the thought even crosses their mind.

the ACC was a lot tougher during the Bowden years though.

Why in the world would anyone want to follow Saban at Alabama?

Money, loaded roster, top tier facilities and recruiting pipelines.

Really good head coaches don't shy away from pressure and unreasonable expectations. There will be very good coaches interested in the job.

Doubt Dabo would leave Clemson for Bama unless his relationships at Clemson were not good.

He'd leave if offered the Bama job.

No one will. Bama is closing down the football program when he leaves.

On the bright side, LSU will finally get a win against them.

Clemson has top shelf facilities or highly recruited players like Sammy Wakkins wouldnt' leave their states to go to Clemson. coaches can recruit at Clemson just as easily as Alabama and I think it is an easier sale for several reasons.

You are suggesting that a coach wouldn't leave to go to a school with more money, more access to recruits, more talent on current roster and more prestige?

That is all before you take into account that Dabo Swinney is an Alabama grad who talked about being one after beating Auburn in 2011

don't see it, if he's winning and recruiting at Clemson.

he got a nice house on a beautiful clear water lake near the mountains. I wouldn't leave that for t-town for little more money

how does Alabama have more acces to recruits? Pretty sure Clemson recruits NC and VA and northeast statres better than Bama, and does well in Florida as well.

what was Alabama doing prior to Saban, not much since 1992.

not the only reason I gave though, if he has good releationships, he's bringing in top recruiting classes, he has a nice house on a lake, and he has more job security than he would at Bama, why would he leave? Plus it is easier to win the ACC and get to the playoffs, based on what most of you say.

Clemson is as good if not better as Bama this year, better QB, better at WR, etc.
