and what got Alabama the so called 'prestige' in the first place.
They didn't copy their entire existence from Auburn. Unlike Clemson.

More like fluke.

nah I was only surprised a LSU person said Clemson chokes. LSU has a lot of disappointing losses and laid an egg in national title game
Since when did Clemson even play for a national title, did I miss it? Maybe it's hard to look past your 1 4-loss ACC Championship which is your only one of the last 20 years. In the meantime we've won 2 national titles and 3 SEC championships in the last 13 years. We've also finished consensus Top 10 in 7 seasons since 2000. Clemson? Once. Might want to know your place.

Nope. He wouldn't even take the job if it was offered. Clemson is better with him than they have ever been in their entire history, and he's not stupid enough to leave and follow Saban. He's got the perfect gig right now.
Revisit this after Saban's replacement is fired in four years.

Don't get me wrong. He's another Bill Curry. Would continue the recruiting dominance but fail on Saturdays. Set it up for the next guy.

Well then that definitely rules out ol' Dabo.

what team in SEC was better than FSU the past 3 years. FSU would have won SEC all 3 years the past 3
Very doubtful, especially last year. fricked around so much in the first half against pretty awful competition. No way they navigate a brutal SEC schedule unscathed.

Dabo would be an excellent replacement.

Well, you have to get there first. Maybe one day, your team can get exposed in the playoffs after going undefeated in the regular season and winning a conference title.
Then again, maybe not. Almost forgot who I was talking about here.

ya'll call Dabo a retard and douchebag then say you can read your mind. you know exactly what a retarded douchebag will do? Lol C'mon man
I hope he takes the job there b/c it will be funny after you guys ridiculed him for years. lol
then I hope he drives your program into the tank and you never recover like TN.
then I will say why did you hire an ACC coach you called a douchebag for years. lol

football changed a lot last 10 years, lot of programs tyring to be more competitive than in the past and have nice facilities. there are more options for recruits and I think Clemson is better located to recruit regardless of whose the coach. Saban could have success at any school similar to Meyer.
MOTHER OF GOD

it isn't hard to win the down acc.

It would depend on how long Saban stays, if Smart would go somewhere and cut his teeth he might be an option.
McElwain might have been a solid hire as well but my guess is he will be entrenched at Florida now.
LSU and Bama could be looking around the same time for a new coach maybe in around another 5-7 years.
Narduzzi at Pitt might be one to watch but he probably ends up back in the Big 10 at some point if he would leave Pitt.

I think a lot of yall don't understand how easy it is for that to happen though. Very easy to have a Muschamp type come in and destroy a program (and their recruiting resources are better than yours).

We all know your motivation, tater.
Dabo becoming HC at Bama would be the closest to being in the SEC you poor fricktards will ever get. Sucks to be you.

SEC hasn't been that brutal the past 3-4 years.

So you're freely admitting that a team from a not so brutal SEC in a down East division has WHOOPED THAT arse 3 out of the 4 years you speak of?

what was Alabama doing prior to Saban, not much since 1992.
Clemson has won their conference one time since 1992 and that was a 10-4 team that got their doors blown off by West Virginia in the Orange Bowl.
Congrats on beating an overrated Notre Dame team.
I think the Mark Richt analogy isn't too far off the mark.
What exactly has Clemson accomplished under Dabo?
Lots of highly touted recruits, one conference title in 7 years.
Bama should hire Jimbo Fisher when Saban retires. From the Saban coaching tree and has made FSU into a highly competitive program again. Multiple conference titles, one national title and one CFP appearance.

A year ago I would never want him near our program but he has proven himself to be a solid head coach and I think he could win a title at Bama. Plus I bet he would love to come back to his school and win big for them.
I bet you can't name one other realistic option that would be better than Dabo after Saban.
I really really wish that we could ship you off the North Korea... You're absolutely the worst poster in the history of the internet. If I could go back in time, I'd give you father a condom or have his testicles injected with some sort of sterilizer and he'd probably be alive today.
