We know that angle isn't true. We do have plenty of ways to compare. Just look at the resume.

I thought you want to clean up the board.

I think we have played our way out of hosting, unless something miraculous happens this weekend against Florida. However, I do find it hard to believe that we would get shipped out to Seattle.

If you look over that closely, it is pretty obvious that Baseball America is pretty biased against the SEC.

They have Georgia Tech (RPI 19) as the two in Gainesville and Clemson (RPI 8) as the two in College Station. There are about 8 or 9 regional hosts that have a better draw than Florida and Texas A&M has about the worst first round draw of anyone in the tournament even thou they are listed as a national seed.

I think it is pretty clear Baseball America has no clue what the frick they are doing here?

Which is why I said if you look it this way, it's called a hypothetical. We know they match primarily based on location, but it wasn't what his statement/question was about.

A pretty subjective measure.

LSU has a better chance of sweeping this weekend and stealing one from Florida.

Unless we sweep A&M there's no way we'll be that high.

If we can win both series vs. A&M and Alabama then I think we're safe for a national seed.

If not, Carolina screwed themselves by ridiculously losing series to Kentucky and Georgia.

Auburn only needs to go 6-2 in our last 8 games with 5 wins against State and Vandy, win one in tourney and we make the post season.

Are record, RPI, sos subjective? Not even a little. Those are hard #s. I guess you could argue interpretation is. If team A has move wins, a better RPI, more top 50 wins, and fewer 100+ losses than team B then to me it's clean team A is better.
