Niche sport IMO

I would make remarks like this if my school's biggest accomplishment in the past decade and a half was courtesy of the women's basketball team.

Holbrook is officially on the hot seat.

That has to be our lowest pre-season ranking in nearly two decades.

Things will really get testy if SC doesn't make it to post season (and by postseason I mean Super Regionals).

There's no reason you shouldn't make the tournament at a school like South Carolina. Unacceptable.

LSU is ranked too high, but we benefit from history. This will be an entertaining and frustrating season.

I'm very surprised we didn't crack the top 25. We will in due time, though, it doesn't matter.

Kendall Rogers
?@KendallRogersD1: @GreenWaveBSB and @OleMissBSB were two teams that I would have 26-27 if the season started today. Like both.

How many medical redshirts is that guy gonna get? Seems like he has been there forever.

It will be interesting to see how Auburn reacts to Butch. We brought in a TON of juco kids last year so there is some talent. Need to get a third starter to go along with Thompson and Lipscomb. Also need to keep Thompson healthy all year.

I think the SEC West could possibly have five regional hosts. It's obvious that LSU, State, Arkansas, A&M and Ole Miss will make the tourney and I doubt any of them will be lower than a two-seed in a regional. It should be a fun year.

I think "Smoke" Holbrook needs at least another 4-6 years to get his guys in place before any value judgments on what he's done with the program can be made.

Yea, LSU too high. We'll have to win a lot of 3-2 and 4-3 games, because right now I just don't see us replacing 8 of our 9 bats from last year's team.

He was injured and pulled mid season last year. He's taking an actual RS this year. This would've been his 3rd season in the program. He was Fr All SEC and Fr All American his 1st year. Right now he's projected as a Top100 overall pick in the upcoming draft, but it all depends on how he comes back from Tommy Johns surgery.

Not really sure why they have State at 15 given our performance last year. I expect us to be better, but it seems our program gets a lot of hype

Tommy John surgery. Takes forever to get back.

It just seems like he has been there a while. Probably because he was so dominant as a freshman.

It always seems like SC has guys there forever.

We'll be a lot better down the stretch. We have arguably the best pitching coach around and more power at the plate.

Gator fans, your program consistently performs well & is always in the running for the conference title, as well as being consistently in the playoffs. From what I see on tv, your fan support does not show up in numbers this type of program deserves. Am I watching the wrong games or is it actually not supported in the fashion it deserves? M.St. fans, when will your new ball park be ready & is there any backlash from what appears to be a diminished role for your left field bleacher fans?

Dayum. Three from the East and four from West.

Now let's see if we can get three or more to Omaha!

Not sure about the Tigers yet. We may have the pitching, it's offense I'm worried about.......
