Really? The PMAC is great venue. It could use a new video board, larger inner concourse and more restrooms but you really must be a troll. You couldn't possible have ever been to the PMAC to make this assessment.

nice melt though. Sounds like you have deep seeded inner turmoil about your school being wholly irrelevant across the board. Will Muschamp will give some great 7-5 seasons and your basketball team is about to come back down to earth as you disphits lose 8 conference games

PMAC is a nice venue. The only reason to replace it would be to have club seating and/or suites.

The O'Connell Center is in the running for worst SEC arena.

Ole Miss' choice of names is poor. A pavilion is basically an outhouse. In sports, it is used to distinguish the cheap seats from the grandstand.

You're probably more familiar with outhouses than I, but I doubt anyone refers to a place where you shite in the ground as a pavilion.

But you're probably right, we should call it the Assembly Center so it sounds like high school plays take place there

I thought The Pavilion was just a temporary name.

Well I think they are still working out the naming rights but it will still be called "The *insert donor name* pavilion". I could just be full of shite though.

I've often wondered if you could "square" it off and steepen the bleachers within the current footprint. You'd probably lose about 3,000 seats, but outside of about 4 basketball games and 2 gym meets a year...it's never full.

This would also give you larger concourses and such too.

It should be coined "The Kennedy Pavilion" for what that man has done for this program. You just watch, with the addition of this new facility we're about to be a program on the rise. AK has an eye for talent, now we have a legitimate shot at some of these bigger names.

The OM basketball arena is glorious.

I actually went to Allen Fieldhouse at KU and Cameron Indoor within a couple weeks of each other. Both had a lot of history and loved both arenas in different ways.

The PMAC could use some major aesthetical changes.
