No way Florida's admin would sign off on Bobby P

Good news for the rest of the SEC. Petrino with FL talent would be formidable.

1. Chip Kelly
2. Larry Fedora
3. Mike Gundy - longshot, doubt he leaves Okie State

Chip Kelly doesn't like to recruit but neither does SOS . I don't think that will be an issue because the style and stats will get the players to come to UF. It would be one of the fits for Kelly.

Scott frost could be a good option too .

I like Fuente at VT but he would be cheap coming from another Power 5 team.

Willie Taggard and Charlie strong would be good picks if they have good years .

I think Nuss needs to be fire today and replace him with who ever is available or someone else on the staff and have Mac call plays. I would be interested in the OC Mac had CSU if he was available. SOS may even be willing to fill in . He doesn't have to recruit just call plays like he wants.

You guys had a straight up murderer on your team. Your admin gives exactly zero fricks about "character." Lmao. That's the funniest shite I've read on here in a bit.

Reread my post. The administration, especially Foley has been hung up on hiring coaches with high character, while we consistently have players out of fricking control.

Which is why I don't mind hiring a Petrino or Tressle because our last few coaches couldn't keep the players out of trouble. A guy like Petrino has had to clean up his act. So why should we act holier than thou? We need a sure thing. A coach that can win games and bring back Florida offensive style of football. These last 2 coaches have tried to imitate Bama and we are not Bama.

I disagree. He's a good coach who's a qb away from being an awesome coach.

Problem is that QB is currently starting for WVU tonight against Virginia Tech.

From what I saw last night, I cannot honestly blame either QB when they had zero time to throw. The offensive line was absolutely pathetic and it was supposed to be a strength. That is coaching and play calling imo. An FCS team could have moved the ball better than that showing. I don't think the offense ever got in the red zone??? WTH?

I picked WVU to be a darkhorse playoff contender and I think he does ball out tonight.

Not sure why so many people are jumping all over VT on this one.

That's the one anomaly. We will never, ever know if the offense would have finally got it together with Grier at the helm. He looked awfully good but there were a lot more key games to be played against top level defenses.

Petrino has been at Louisville four years now. He's probably looking to jump again. Then again, he's not exactly been his former self at Louisville this go-around. I'm not sure what's up with him. Maybe he really isn't the complete shite head he used to be and that was the source of his power or something.

Petrino wouldn't dare burn that Louisville bridge a second time, would he?

Probably not, but old habits die hard, you know. If that guy suspects that Florida is serious with their Florida money, he'd be an idiot not to seriously consider it. Even a weak recruiter like Petrino would have a head-start on recruits of magnificent caliber. Dude would win a Championship there, I'm sure of it.
