Saban and Spurrier are absolute 100% locks.

Miles would need another natty IMO, or at least a few more SEC titles.

Richt not even close.

Spurrier could be one of the few inducted as both a player and coach.

I hope you don't think I meant literally.

Saban, Spurrier, and Miles are all 100% in the HOF if voted on today.

Paul Dietzel doesn't belong, he had 8 losing seasons out of 20 for a WP of only .533.

That's would be the Hall of Mediocrity.

If this is accurate, then Dietzel is out of the running. For what it's worth, his winning percentage was high enough until the South Carolina gig.

Miles is easily in

Smashes the 60% winning pct barrier at 72.4% and has 2 NCG appearances, 1 NC, 2 SEC Championships, 7 10+ win seasons; etc...

Entering his 15th season this year

You say that as if there's some huge difference between the two.

First three are 100% locked in.

My inclination would be that Richt needs another SEC title but as others have pointed out lesser resumes have made the cut.

Urban Meyer is the second slimiest HC of my lifetime, (but not in real striking distance of Slime King Paterno), I count him as a lock. Not currently SEC but a big SEC resume.

Bryant was coaching Kentucky for the majority of his "first nine years in the SEC". But by all means compare Auburn and Kentucky.

Richt will probably end up with a better record and winning percentage at UGA than Dooley and during an arguably more difficult era of football. No reason he shouldn't be at least considered

I think you'd also have to consider coaching resume prior to UGA, where he was a highly successful OC on national title teams at FSU

Miles definitely needs 2-3 more sec championships and 1 more natty. Saban and the ole ball coach are locks of course. Richt? gtfo with that shite.
