I'm always pleased to see ANY player help others. God blessed them with a talent and resources and a forum. Let them give back to those less fortunate. It's fantastic when it happens.

There are good people on every team. It's sad that the tPOS guys get the press. Cam is a good guy but there are others as well. Thank goodness.

No every other team has thugs who could not care less about charity or helping the community. Auburn has the market cornered on caring players and likes to point it out numerous times a week.

The guilt is seeping out of all the orifices. How many more "2nd chance" souls will Auburn entice before even they have to wince?

That's awesome of Cam. I don't think he's nearly as horrible of a dude as he was made out to be in 2010.

However, this feels like a thread started only so you could post that about Cam. You don't give a shite about "current of former SEC players who are doing the right thing" that don't play or didn't play for AU. Just start a thread about Cam next time.

(but props for not starting a thread like "Player A helps kids with Cancer", "Player B beats up fellow students"...for the record, Player A is Cam and Player B is a TPOS from Bama)

cam definitely hired a great team of advisers or pr people when he got into the nfl. i give him mad props for that.

The Panthers owner had a "come to Jesus" meeting with Newton after he got there and was acting like a complete arse.

OJ Simpson did charity work, too.

John Wayne Gacy was a fountain of philanthropy and volunteer work.

A lot of them give back, but they don't try to get press about what they are doing. They do it for other people and not so people will say what a great guy that they are.
