Pearl's record over his last 3 years was a few wins better than Martin's.

He avoided having one of the worst defeats in Tourney history on his resume, that much is for sure.

Yes. Pearl was facing UK/Vandy/UF 2x per season.

Arkansas got to play UK twice in a season for the first time this year.

It was no big deal.

We're just trying to find someone who can keep up with the unprecedented success Arkansas has had the past 18 years since their last Sweet 16 appearance.
