You are one of the best dbs in the nation and you are down to Auburn and Alabama......it sucks for aubies, but are you really surprised?

Meh, I'm not sure what he was expecting? He can't handle that whole situation like he did and expect no backlash.

Has to be an odd transition for him. He is getting hero worship at every turn one day Then he makes a decision that was what was best for him and Some vocal idiots say mean things to him and he seems surprised/upset about by it.

Whining on twitter about it isn't going to stop stupid people from being stupid so I don't see what's to gain from it. Be tougher.

Sounds like he's on the Reuben Foster educational track.

PLEASE let this turn into an Auburn vs. 'Bama academic argument!

Like watching a midget dunk contest. I'll get the popcorn, just in case!

e's in the same class as Marlon Humphrey and I imagine Marlon would have caught hell had he chosen Auburn over Alabama and he he doesn't even live in Tuscaloosa

Only because he's a 5 star. If he was a 2 star, nobody in Auburn would give a damn. Plenty of great athletes have had kids who went to universities other than their dad's alma mater, and it usually barely causes a ripple because the kids are rarely as talented as their dad. Marlon is a special case (as is Evans, in reverse, since he appears to be more talented than his dad.)

Lb, but no. Most aren't. But usually those who scream and bitch the loudest typically aren't the most well adjusted.

I feel sorry for you if you think only kids going to Alabama speak with this way.

People (myself included) can take recruiting way too damn seriously. This is an 18 year old kid that has made the biggest decision of his life so far. That goes for every recruit. People need to calm down and be happy that these kids can get out of the environments they grew up in, because a lot of those weren't so great.

Auburn fans should lay off of him, he should stay away from social media and keep his head down until he graduates. Everything will settle down then.
