A felony gun charge and misdemeanor pot charge at 4 am qualifies someone as "an overall frick up". Crow had failed a drug test. That shite doesn't even register when looking at an incident like this.

Sure it registers when you look at his overall picture at UGA. But like I said, dude's in the NFL. No prison. Kickin it. Cam will be too if he doesn't frick up any more. Up to him.

Yeah he can still play in the NFL. He just can't play at Alabama anymore if the school has any kind of student conduct code.

Nope, but more than one baggie does.

I think he'll find a way out of it. Last year I had a buddy buying large amounts of a schedule II substance from a former teammate. His name was Kurt Freitag and he was a tight end for Alabama who sold his teammates prescriptions. Well one day we found out he got busted in his dorm room with 112 grams of marijuana and $4600 cash. He got the charges dropped somehow and stayed on the team.

Not in Louisiana bitch we're gonna steamroll Robinson's punk arse.

It has already been said a bunch, but cam is lucky it isn't two felony charges.

I hope the people in Louisiana issuing the charges administer the law fairly and don't succumb to to all the Bama money and power.

I really like how Bama homers are trying to use the "first offense" excuse here.
If the crime is severe enough the number of offenses doesn't matter. I think we can all agree that felony gun/drug charges isn't the same level of offense as failed drug tests.

He also got kicked of the team and went from future first rounder to undrafted free agent
This. Translation: he and thug players like him don't give a shite and we don't want players like that on our team. Talent is obviously the key factor in recruiting but a reckless attitude trumps all when it translates into negative public relations incidents.

The possession of marijuana or the gun charges? The possession of marijuana charge is a "meh" to me depending on the amount he possessed
I know "large" amount is subjective. But if they were sitting in a parking lot with what was described as a "large" amount of what remains an illegal drug BOTH carrying handguns (regardless of how the weapons came into their possession), what does that sound like to you?
This wasn't an issue of two college kids caught smoking bud in a park. They were pretty cleadly awaiting a drug deal.
If you're ok with two of your football players being actual drug dealers, I'm not sure what else to tell you.
If this were the case, the charge would've been with intent to distribute. It wasn't, so the officers didn't find any evidence to that. A little weed means they searched the car and probably found guns. Not necessarily sitting by them cocked and ready to fire like you're trying to say

That was a slow week for Crowell.

Crowell didn't have a stolen pistol and illegal drugs in his possession.
I love how moral relativism is so broadly frowned upon in the south until it has to do with football.

those charges were dropped over a year after the arrest, when Mr. Crowell was already enrolled at Alabama State following his dismissal from the University of Georgia.
But I am sure you already knew that or else you would not have started such a stupid fcking thread. OP
