The possession of marijuana or the gun charges? The possession of marijuana charge is a "meh" to me depending on the amount he possessed
I know "large" amount is subjective. But if they were sitting in a parking lot with what was described as a "large" amount of what remains an illegal drug BOTH carrying handguns (regardless of how the weapons came into their possession), what does that sound like to you?
This wasn't an issue of two college kids caught smoking bud in a park. They were pretty cleadly awaiting a drug deal.
If you're ok with two of your football players being actual drug dealers, I'm not sure what else to tell you.

yeah i don't think many people had any sympathy for any of those guys, and of course none of y'all commented on their arrests either, right?

Hated Jefferson? Sure did!

In addition to using an example where the player was kicked off of his team, you're now using one that happened after the player was no longer on the team.
You're working yourself into a frenzy to convince yourself this is all okay.

No, they didn't have spines, so this excuses this situation?

After the Taylor issues last year, we will see if Saban cares what people say about him. He will be perceived as a disciplinarian or someone who only cares about winning. Biggest test he has faced since being at Alabama.

I'm sure people commented. My comment is simply that a) these dudes are dumb as hell
b) Cam Robinson's NFL future is still as bright as ever.
c) When the smoke clears, his future at Bama may just be fine, too.
I'm sorry that offends some of y'all. Peace be upon you.

Bag of marijuana =/= "residue"
Spin spin spin.
As far as JJ, there wasn't clear evidence to merit felony charges (like being caught in possession of a stolen gun in the presence of an illegal narcotic ) so they were dropped.
And the link you posted wasn't even when he was on the team.
But, if you want to harp on it, I would have rather he did get locked up/kicked off the team. At least it would have saved me the headache of watching him play.

You do know that the 2nd link you posted was of an arrest that happened after the 2011 football season concluded, correct?

I said he was no longer a member of the team, not that he was kicked off. Please, tell me how Jordan Jefferson was a member of the LSU football team after the 2011 season.
Do try and keep up bro.
ETA: The first five words of the article are "Four former LSU football players"
Serious question: Are you mentally handicapped?

This is your response every time you get bitch slapped with facts. Sad little person you are.
Seriously though, you've posted 3 separate arrests to convince yourself that this is all going to be just fine for the two Alabama players.
In the first, the player who was arrested was kicked off of his team. In the second, the player missed three quarters of the season AFTER the charges were reduced to a misdemeanor. In the third, it didn't even include current players of any football program.
You're looking like a true genius in this thread, no doubt.
