When I was in grade school I was at an Alabama/Tennessee game in the mid to late 80s at Legion Field in Bham with my parents. This older (roughly mid 60s) fairly normal looking Bama fan all of a sudden stood up and absolutely smoked a guy sitting next to him in the head with one of those large heavy seat cushions. It turns out the guy he hit (another Bama fan) was completely wasted and was getting on the nerves of everyone in the section. You could hear the impact from the surrounding sections of the stadium. The guy got knocked the frick out!!

From what I've heard, he lost a bet with his frat, and this was the payoff. Not pictured here, but he ran to the huddle and put his arm around (then-starting QB) Matt Jones. Shortly thereafter, the cops caught him and tackled him to the ground, which was even more awkward.

I was THERE. And the crowd was told repeatedly to not go on the field, to stop throwing shite, to LEAVE the stadium, and they kept going onto the field and throwing shite.
When people ON THE FIELD started getting injured, they turned the fricking water on. I was there and that is EXACTLY what happened.
And when they were still standing there doing stupid shite when the sprinklers got turned on, they got what was coming to'em.

The drunk tank for the Alabama game in 2004 ib was no better than Mexican prison 64 people crammed like Sardines...ended up there when Tide ran 80 yard TD on first play. Fights in the drunk tank got bad, Alabama dude was hilarious but got knocked out for being too loud by some hillbilly that wasn't at game.
