So why did Alabama magically skip UGA even though they were next in the rotation and magically hit Kentucky instead?

Ask the AD's. I wasnt there when they made the schedule.

If he doesn't I'd love to know what his job does entail.

In comparison to Notre Dames schedule, Alabama has a cake walk.

Here is my take from top to bottom

SEC CCG or NONE = winner Alabama
Bama has the extra game against a top school with a BCS MNC on the line

vs LSU or @ Stanford = winner Alabama
Toss up for second but I put LSU above TAMU for now - more of a grudge f*ck game

@ Texas A&M or @ Michigan = winner Alabama
TAMU beat Bama last year and Bama whupped Michigan

@ Mississippi State or vs Oklahoma Sooners = winner Notre Dame
Oklahoma will yet again be rated higher than they deserve but media will put them ahead

vs Virginia Tech (Georgia Dome) or vs Southern Cal = winner Alabama
Media will pump up Trojans but Hokies may be better team by seasons end

vs Tennessee or vs vs Michigan State = winner Notre Dame
Vols are the rivals but Spartans are in a better spot right now

vs Ole Miss or vs Arizona State (Jerryworld) = winner Notre Dame
Sun Devils seem to have hype but do not follow through as season progresses

************ Does anybody really care about the bottom half of either schedule? ********

@ Auburn or vs @ Purdue = winner Alabama
In state rival games that will be one sided this fall

vs Arkansas or vs BYU = winner Alabama
Hogs are better than BYU even post Petrino dumpster fire

@ Kentucky or @ Pittsburgh = winner Alabama
I would take the Cats under Stoops to beat next years Pitt team

@ Kentucky or @ Pittsburgh = winner Alabama
I would take the Cats under Stoops to beat next years Pitt team

vs Colorado State or @ Air Force = winner Notre Dame
Both are in the MWC so AF > CSU

vs Chattanooga or vs Navy = winner Notre Dame
I would pick Navy to beat UT - Chattanooga

vs Georgia State or vs Temple = winner Notre Dame
I would pick Temple to beat Georgia State

Alashama plays 2 teams in all the projected preseason top 25 polls and rankings. 2 out of 12.

Two.

A&M and LSU.

LSU plays - FIVE.
TCU, Georgia, Florida, A&M, and Shama.

Nobody is saying that y'all haven't had dominant teams in the past few years. Nobody is saying y'all aren't a top program. What the rest of the country is saying is that y'all got benefits and a little bit of a boost along the way. The scheduling helped yall become dominant and now y'all are this monster. Again THIS IS NOT COMING FROM LSU FANS IT'S COMING FROM NATIONAL MEDIA MEMBERS WHO HAVE NO DOG IN THE FIGHT.

But see, this is just inaccurate as are Cowherd's quotes. Alabama having an easy schedule just became a talking point in the past year or two. Alabama's 2009 and 2010 schedules were among (if not the) hardest schedules in the country. Alabama having a history of bye week advantages, as Cowherd asserts, is just laughable. LSU fans predominately (and now some in the media) are taking one thing (the fact that Bama has easier schedules in 2012 and 2013) and trying to make it something much bigger than it is. I can't believe you are so shortsighted.

Why don't you LSU fans get on Alleva's arse and get him to take the "problems" and "issues" to the SEC office?

If y'all would bitch, whine, moan to your AD as much as you do on this board I bet he'd jump into action and stand up for his school.

Who am I attacking? I'm coming clean. Nick Saban, the University of Alabama and the head of SEC scheduling are all in cahoots with each other.

Alabama will have a cakewalk schedule for the next few decades to ensure the easiest path to the SECCG while LSU has to play UF, USC, and UGA from the East as well as 3 more top-tier OOC games that Alabama and the Illuminati decide upon.

HOW DARE THEY? Bama is guilty of not scheduling THEMSELVES. They get the EASY SEC schedule, conveniently skipping over Bama every year, while the rest of the SEC West is stuck playing Bama.

IT'S NOT FAIR!!! Bama should be scheduled to play BAMA every year like the rest of us!!!!

Shortsighted says Nick Saban's Alabama teams have won 3 out of the last 4 BCSNC's. That's why some folks have their panties all in a knot.
