If Oregon was bidding then they must have outbid Auburn for Lache

At least that's the story to hear BorntobeaTiger tell it (and he started telling it way before any Auburn news was circulating)

Auburn wouldnt even touch this kid and thats saying something

That doesn't seem to be the real story... Auburn (want to be) insiders started bad-mouthing him after he said he was going to Oregon

Actually a thread where that happened on the SEC Rant was the first time or one of the first times BTBAT alleged Auburn was guilty of "SMU style behavior"

And btw if you read his posts he never talked about Oregon being clean or dirty... just replied that he didn't care for Auburn fans smearing Lache after he turned them down... it was his anger over this that resulted in him talking about Auburn being dirty

A three alarm fire that AU was right in the middle of for a large part of his recruitment. Word on the street is that AU couldn't even touch this kids askin' price. Damn, that's saying something.

Oregon.

Even if Auburn paid Cam $200,000 they would have still been the 2nd biggest cheaters in the NCG.

ETA: and Cowherd is from the pacific northwest. Could have inside sources.

Actually, thats not Occams razor. Occam's razor states "Plurality ust never be posited without neccessity" and it refers to burden of proof, not explanations. You have incorrectly applied it here. You posit that "LSU will never be caught cheating because LSU hasn't been caught in the past." If your posit were true, no one would EVER be caught cheating ecause no one would have been cught the first time. Occam's Razor has nothing to do with that failure of logic.

Because they had committed the violations with him. The NCAA told them to back off.

I think your definition is right but you applied it in a way to make him wrong

If his posit was "we should not assume LSU is cheating because there has not been shown to be cheating in the past" then his use of Occam's razor seems reasonable

And by cheating I mean substantial (cash) shenanigans not hundred dollar handshakes or getting a cheap apartment you shouldn't have been able to get... I think that type of stuff probably goes on

A little more than that and LSU admitted to boosters being involved in recruiting if I am not mistaken. My whole argument is dont act like your above anybody else. Yes you might not have done as much as some, but that doesnt make you any better.

Again, going back to your original post was about how texas cheated yet LSU didnt need to cheat because everyone wants to play for LSU in LA so they dont need to cheat. If anybody has a more talent rich state that kids grow up dreaming to play for it is TEXAS. I never said anything about LSU cheating or Auburn until you brought it up
