At least Saban is soft on discipline so we are good. It is what it is.

It's his 1st offense so Saban will handle with "internal discipline." Which basically means extra running, community service, substance abuse classes, etc. He won't miss the FSU game...it is what it is.

First time in trouble? Suspend him for the opener and move on.

for DW-frikkin_I? That's ridiculous. He could have killed a half dozen people. Should be a minimum 4 game suspension. And all suspensions should be SEC games or they dont count.

I see people in this thread that wanted Mayfield suspended or kicked off the team for public intoxication. So if this dude was driving drunk and could have killed innocents he should be kicked off the team at the least.

Dumb. Very dumb. He should miss at least the first quarter against FSU.

At least the rustlage is always fun here, though.

Glad you're brave enough to admit it.

I keep seeing this...

It doesn't matter if it was his 1st. I would be SHOCKED if he missed any meaningful game time.

a QUARTER?? Do you freaking hear yourself? This is not 1995, bruh. He needs to be suspended for multiple games. If someone at Arkansas does it, I guaran-damn-tee you they'd be "indefinitely' suspended right now. That ish is unacceptable. What a crock of shite.

You're going to be disappointed. I was joking about a quarter. He won't miss any game time. He's too good. A scrub might miss a whole game, though.

Missing game time doesn't necessarily help to rehabilitate our players instincts relative to the choices they make in order to put themselves in a position to be successful, aight?

Fixed for CG

It is missing a "relative to".

oh, yeah, SURE, Buddy. Letting guys off the hook for serious criminal felonies because they football good does a LOT for character promotion. What a load of shite. Football at all costs, huh. You arent fooling anybody with that load of horse shite.

Missing games and taking away football from the perp is THE ONLY WAY to help rehabilitate them. It's literally all they care about.

Please give an example of Saban letting people off for "serious felonies". This kid got a DUI...
