It would be cool to have yet another SEC team participate in the SEC BCS Title streak.

Especially from the East. It would certainly show more balance.

I think they would stomp Notre Dame. I don't think they can play Bama within two touchdowns. Georgia is good, don't get me wrong, but they would be 4th in the SEC West this year, imo. I want them to win, I really do. 7 in a row from 5 different teams is sexy as hell. Saban winning 3 out of 4 is not. But Georgia isn't as good as Alabama, LSU, or Texas A&M.

Sure UGA could win. Why is Bama on your mind so much today? First the refs causing Bama to be up 42-0 at the half, now this.

It's certainly possible. Alabama is the better team, but the better team doesn't always win. Totally depends on how McCarron plays I think.

Yes it could very well be. Bama-UGA is going to be a great game. Georgia sent Dan Devine out with a loss in his last game at ND to win the NC in 1980.

WTF? Did you look at the date of this thread? Did you not know that UGA played earlier? Did you not realize that I did NOT start a thread about Bama? Geez...the paranoia,

After the SEC title game Bama will recommend the SEC find a neutral site for SEC championship

Agreed.... Mostly
Georgia could pull it off. They do have playmakers, and turnovers do happen. They beat a better Florida team.

Why? Do you think Bama will lose due to the crowd?

What is kind of sad is that if Georgia loses to Bama, and Florida beats FSU, then Florida will get a better bowl than Georgia....

Why is that sad? Florida has the best resume out of any 1-loss team in the country with a win over FSU. The travesty would be Florida being kept out of the dance.. and it's just another good example of why we need a play-off.

LSU should have stomped a hole in UF

I guess my point is that if Georgia wins the east, they would go to a better bowl, except by losing to Bama, they would actually get knocked down below Florida even though they beat Florida and won the division. Doesn't exactly seem fair...

What's not fair is Florida playing 5 top-10 opponents, winning 4 games, and getting kept out of the BCSCG by teams that played 2 top-10 opponents and winning 1. Wtb 8 team (or more) playoff.. get rid of OOC games period. Conference champ playoff.

Although I need UF to lose tonight.. so go noles.

I don't know. Georgia looks like they've got it all together-- probably playing better than anybody right now.

Bama is going to have their hands full next week. It's a hard game to pick, IMHO.
