Are you sure Arkansas St. is a definite W?

Good question. Ark state > Utah State IMHO.

We are bringing back the Prowler and this for the game this year.

we're looking at 6 wins this year as a baseline

If UT goes under six wins, is Butch Jones on the hot seat? Or does he get a pass for this year?

Baseline of 6 wins is definitely achievable.
That puts UT in a minor bowl, which sets them up for next year.
I don't see how Jones is on the hot seat unless the season totally collapses and he loses the team.

This but I don't see it happening. He is building a roster and I will give him the time to get the players in place. Bowl is a must next year and then back to challenging for the East. He inherited a big pile of shite started by Fulmer, piled on by Kiffin, and doubled by Dooley.

Oh how I wish they would break that record.

Vandy is not a tossup. The game is in Nashville and our line on both sides of the ball is far superior.

I think he gets a pass this year.

Now that being said, if they go 5-7 or 4-8, then next year is going to take more than "rebounding" to 6-6. I think that a 6-6 season this year followed by a 7-5/8-4 season next year he is good. However, go under .500 this year and I think without 8+ wins in 2015 the seat is really hot if not gone.

Pretty much but even then it would take an epic collapse where the team just flat out rejected him and didn't give it their all - IOW, sloppy halfassed bad football (aka Doooley ball) as opposed to just being out talented, out experienced and outnumbered but playing solid football. Everyone in the fanbase is acutely aware of the issues he inherited. The inexcusable roster holes Dooley left by not recruiting linemen and so much more.

We've got a great group of freshmen and sophomores but they're true freshmen and true sophomores. The fact that we only have a handful of juniors and virtually no seniors beyond Worley and AJ speaks for itself.

Please tell us more about how you have the perfect personnel for a 3-4 switch.

I don't care what they do as long as they keep feeding us one recruit per year.

They'll beat Alabama to avoid that blunder.

I don't know, but I'm just shocked an Alabama fan used "AN historic" in the post. Excellent grammar!

Will be lucky to beat the Mocs.
OL sucks, QB sucks, RBs and WR overrated, DL sucks, LB sucks, DB sucks, and no kicking game.
Butch is unproven. We didn't have Brian Kelly before Butch so he is screwed. We pay recruits, obviously, and can't coach em up when they get on campus.
We barely get 90K for home games anymore.

1-11 is what I see. I just hope Chattanooga doesn't have experience returning on their LOS, because we damn well know our new starters on the line can't do sh!te.
