If we didn't have instant replay showing that a second was left, OT. There was a second left though so...when they lined up to kick, there were 4 possible outcomes: 1. Least likely-AU wins on a return of the kick, block or fumble. 2. 2nd least likely-Bama makes the 57 yarder with a rookie right off he bench. The next 2 are most likely 3. OT-Auburn wins 4. OT-Bama wins.
Who had all the momentum? Who had homefield advantage? Who appeared to be losing steam and sluggish down the stretch? We are talking hypotheticals in a parallel universe here but since we're going down this road...I'm indulging the sarcastic "yeah, sure buddy" gif response to above. If it actually went to OT, based on what was happening at the time (MO, tired Bama, fired up Auburn, homefield advantage), I don't think it's a stretch at all to call it 60/40 Auburn.

Good grief, LSU fans are dense. Was it the Auburn fanbase who picked Auburn to finish 2nd in the SEC this year or was that the media at SEC Media Days? A lot of AU fans are excited about the potential of our team this year but don't act like we're the only ones. Dumbass..

Do you honestly think that ESPN, Sports Illustrated, Phil Steele, Athlon, Lindy's, etc... take their cues from Auburn fans? Slow down and think it through now. I've been reading here much more than I've been posting and there are very few Auburn fans that are predicting a better season than the prognosticators are. We are cautiously optimistic that they are somewhere around the neighborhood of correct. Sorry if that offends you. The general consensus is that AU/LSU should have very similar results...but if Vegas had a say today, AU would not be favored to beat LSU in BR. Y'all ought to feel pretty good about it. Not sure why you are so Aubsessed.

You make some very curious leaps of logic. Let me get this straight. ONCE, an Auburn player was grossly over-hyped by the media, and Auburn fans bought it. Now, when there is hype about an Auburn player, albeit nowhere NEAR the level of hype for JJ, not only is it automatically going to be wrong (because they were wrong that one other time), now even though you acknowledge that it comes first from the media, it actually comes from Auburn fans.
