Lol even if Davis doesn't take the kick back, Auburn would have probably still won. Bama wasn't stopping our offense by the end of that game.

Nick Saban wanted it reviewed. It got reviewed. A second was put back on the clock. You know how the REC works.

Auburn fans are trying to project this really positive "all in' attitude this year because they know if Malzhan fails to produce a legitimate contender this year he's out, and then they're going to have to find another coach that is worth a shite and it's hard to do these days in the SEC, so they're all trying to create some positive mojo.

It's going to be a huge fail.

So what? We will hire another coach who will win the SEC and likely go undefeated.
At least we won't hire a coach Ole Miss fired.

Amazing, 2 seconds is the difference in Gus being gone from Auburn and Les being Fired at LSU. The kick 6 and the LSU-AU game last year. Couple of years you will be wishing that Aubie had lost to LSU in 2016.

Why? Again, we will hire another coach who will take us to the top. LSU has seen the best coaches they will ever have and now you have a fricking ape who couldn't even land a coordinator job.

Are you assuming O will be fired and a greater coach will replace him?

Odds not in your favor on this one. In my lifetime you have Chizik, and Shug before I was born.

What odds are in your favor? Saban and Miles?
Bowden, Tuberville and Chizik all posted undefeated seasons. Dye and Malzahn had their teams in the NC game or in contention. And we've never hired a coach the doormat of the SEC fired.

This is probably true.

Every single HC hired at AU since 1980 - 5 in all - has had at least one year where AU ended the regular season with a shot at the NC.

It could totally be a huge fail. We've all seen it happen with every one of our teams. But here's where you're missing the mark. You are acting like Auburn fans are on some solo campaign to convince the world that our 2017 should win the natty. Neither is true. Auburn fans in general aren't predicting any better than the average prognosticator. We've been thru this shite countless times and know that it could be revealed early on that we all were wrong...and that they were all wrong. But that's about the best way most of us know how to spend the off-season...talking about how it's likely to play out based on what we know. On paper, it looks like an 11-1 to 9-3 season for Auburn. A little wiggle in reality vs expectations and Auburn is 7-5. A wiggle the other way and Auburn is competing for the playoff. I like where we are and it will be fun (or horrific) to see how it plays out. We'll see what happens. But f*** off with your fantasyland version of Auburn fans trying to conspire a campaign of misinformation on the world of college football.
