I'm as SEC alum but give Kudos to FSU. That Tomahawk Chop with the band bringing in the beat along with Chief riding out throwing that damn spear---That will get you Rocking
Love all of this and would still love seeing FSU play if they hadn't covered up a rape to win a championship. Dirty, disgusting and worthy of disdain.

In no particular of one's I've experienced that stuck out:
- Was pretty young, but Bonfire was interesting. Lots and lots of people doing weird stuff in a field around a big fire, but interesting nonetheless
- Not sure if this one is an actual tradition but watching Mike the Tiger at LSU crowd surf from field level to the top of goal side was pretty awesome.
- Opening of the T at UT is pretty spot on in execution. Hard to beat there.
- Gator Chomp is cool. But to a non-fan it can get kinda annoying. And more in the "shut up I'm trying to watch the game" grandpa style annoying, not "you just hate cause you are losing."
- Went to Army/Navy Game when I was a kid, so don't think I appreciated it. Definitely top of my CFB bucket list.
- Boomer Sooner carriage thing was OK. Stadium is pretty small, and open. Just not an intimidating place when I've visited. TX/OU at the Cotton Bowl during the TX State Fair is a better experience.
- Will admit the only disappointing "tradition" I've experienced that I felt is over hyped was the whole Grove thing at Ole Miss. It's a small plot of land people pile in to tailgate. Tailgate set-ups are no different than other major one's I've experienced, but just compressed in a small spot which takes forever to get around. LSU and UT way better experiences tailgate wise. No other places stuck out. Seems those 2 were spread around enough you can walk around campus for hours, and something new, and different to experience. Welcoming peeps too. Also, I think the only people who feel that the women at the Grove are the hottest EVER are just ESPN Yankees that visit. The South just has hot chicks, and didn't see anything special that I don't see on a regular basis where I live. Of all the SEC schools I've visited I'd say UT had the hottest, but I'm partial to cute petite blonde girls. They flow like water there. Ha!!
Been to others as I try to hit up at least a new place each season, but these stuck out so far. Do need to experience Auburn, and FSU (which I hear may beat out UT on my Hottest Chicks list so a must to check out). I'm guessing I'll feel tomahawk sounding thing will get annoying like the Gator Chomp thing. I also need to start venturing up more into the Big 10. I just hate OSU fans, so not sure I can handle a stadium filled with them. Worse fans I've ever come across...and I've dealt with many.

Well that's what the State fan did with his stupid reply to my post that has NOTHING to do with the thread.
I just responded in kind to his 'cherry picking."

I included that in my list of our traditions.

I attended the FSU homecoming Pow Wow when I was young. Young enough to think it was cool then but likely would'nt think that now.

Senior Walk at Arkansas is amazing. Every graduate's name is written on the sidewalks.

The coolest tradition in college football is the Army/Navy players singing each others anthem after the game in front of the corp of cadets.
Yup

Doesn't everyone sing their school song after games?

The trumpet solo from up in the top of Sanford in the pregame of the LSU/UGA game in 13 gave me chills

Yes but only texass has an alumni group stand outside of cowboy stadium and sing theirs after every A&M vs Arkansas game
That's real tradition and passion
