Ralphie. And I agree, Ralphie rocks. It's a shame they stopped caring about their athletics program.

To be fair, I'm not sure they care about much of anything there these days...

All they care about anymore is where the doritos and funyuns are.

We know. That's part of the problem

Chinese bandits for LSU. Pretty bad arse.
One of the best traditions I would love to see in person is the Wisconsin student section doing "jump around" and "buttercup".

Ohio State dotting the I is probably the coolest I've ever seen in person.
Yea that one came to my mind and Penn State's white out.

I think the Eagle flying at Auburn is the coolest of all of those type things.

Texas A&M's band doing the Four Way Cross is pretty damn cool.

Outsiders never get this. Burning was secondary to the building.
Agree 100%. Spent an extra semester at A&M to prove it. . From what I've seen on video the off-campus student bonfire looks like a keeper, though I'm not sure how many students actually participate.
Non-A&M stuff:
SC's Sandstorm was jolting. I had no idea everydamnbody in the stadium participated. That was cool.
Auburn eagle flight is fantastic. Love it.
CU's Ralphie is hands down the best mascot that appears at games. Without that qualifier, it's Mike and it isn't close.
A Mizzou yankee chimed in about dotting the I at Ohio State. I guess someone is going to have to explain to me why this is "cool", because I don't get it.
Worst by far (and sorry MSU fans because I luv you guys) are those damn cowbells. I went once. I won't be going again. Yeah, I know. frick me.

They've stopped the 4/20 party at cu. Boulder has a party reputation from decades ago..But nowadays, this town has a stick so far up their assess, it would make an Aggy wince.
And no Doritos over here. Munchies include roasted kale and quinoa. Damn yuppies replaced the hippies.

Hope I can make it to College Station soon

The eagle is badass. Let's all go rinse our mouths out with soap.

Rammer jammer, running of the gumps, Bama's pregame highlight video (unmatched), award ceremony for national championship trophy, captains' ceremony at Denny Chimes, spring game, Sweet Home Alabama, the unis...
Yep, I'm a homer.

I'm shocked nobody got it right.
The coolest tradition in college football is the Army/Navy players singing each others anthem after the game in front of the corp of cadets.
Watching the Citadel cadets march to the stadium is pretty cool too.

Well the OP seemed like it meant seen in person. I've never been to an Army-Navy game, but I'd love to.

I already stated this on page 2, and some dickweed downvoted the post.

In the SEC... When The Swamp gets really riled up and the game is tight (or you're being pummeled), humidity is 100%, and you can barely hear your thoughts that's when you know you're in trouble... but oh no, that's not all, the band starts playing that creepy theme music and everybody starts gator chomping in unison. It's a cool sight.
But my all time favorite tradition is when Kansas does Rockchalk Jayhawk before their home basketball game. You MUST witness this in person. It gave me CHILLS... I've never been so freaked out in my life. It's like you're surrounded by Buddhist monks chanting in a temple but it's really not. To top it off, the chant sounds creepy, the field house is small so it echoes everywhere and there's not a person within 20 miles that's not saying it, so you can't escape it. It's truly haunting and ethereal, yet fascinating and surreal.

Gator Chomp is cool. "Calling the hogs" is cool and kind of spooky. Chinese Bandits is a catchy song and it always pisses opposing fans off.
