QB passed for 3000yds, (2) WR with 1000yds and a RB with 1000yds in the same season. When is the last time the aTm offense accomplished that?

"3,000 yard passer, 1,000 yard rusher, and 2 1,000 yard receivers BRAH!"

If your comparing it to a spread offense, its obviously not going to look as good but still impressive nonetheless for the style of football we play. Its apples to oranges.

Much like our talented, relevant defense compared to Aggie's.

No where because our D couldn't stop anyone.

A better season than aTm had, even with your GOAT player

And I seem to remember the narrative being that all of the NFL defections(credit to Chavis) had finally caught up with y'all. But apparently now it was Chavis' fault correct?

Well, if he is this GOAT DC you guys want him to be a few young guys playing early who have turned out to be pretty good players shouldn't be that much of a problem.

But the truth is somewhere in between

First guy in that video will be your opponents offense inside of two minutes racing down the field to take the lead. Enjoy another season just last the last few you've had

Everybody wants their coach to be tGOAT, in our case he doesn't have to be though. This is what you are struggling to understand.

I get that, aTm can have a middle of the road defense and be well off.

Aggies don't get that Chavis has had good talent his whole career and doesn't recruit that hard. If his defense has the problems it does with LSU's personnel, what will happen when he has Aggie's??? Will be interesting to see

You didn't hear that from me. I was making the excuse that our D (secondary) was young for him and this year I was doing the same thing for the D-line. Which they are, but the D-line never got better as the year went on either.

Part of me wishes that Chavis was coming back for next year because of the continuity with the system. However, on the other hand I kind of excited to see what someone else can do with the talent we will have next year.

I'm not saying Chavis won't make the D better. He most likely will. I'm saying that a "competent D" (as stated earlier) may not be all aTm needs.

I think that unless Sumlin has a talent like JFF the offense won't be as prolific as the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
