The Texas Hill Country from Driftwood to Kerrville is all pretty amazing. Great towns like Wimberley, Luckenbach, and of course Fredricksburg. Just gorgeous country in the hills with lots of wineries, bbq, and great music. You can really understand what Willie and Waylon were singing about.

Shiner is a really cool little town with the famous brewery.

Brenham is great. Stop by and get some Blue Bell Ice Cream from the factory.

Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Hot Springs has boat manufacturers.
Boat manufacturers hire boat babes.
Parties with boat babes are the best ever.
Hooray for Hot Springs!

I saw a ton of cool pics online of Bywater and Marigny. It seems as though it's a grittier version of the magazine street corridor. Looks badass. Would be nice to see a gentrification across the canal of the lower 9th that would encourage demographic integration. It is basically a clean slate.

Got to eat at Ma Mama's. Great food.

Can't get off the beaten path in Louisiana without visiting Natchitoches.
