When I travel outside of SEC country, I catch hell from local fans, not for being a Tennessee alum/fan but for them being in the SEC. So, I feel ok about cheering for the conference

Whether you like it or not you are guilty by association when outside the south. People are envious of the SEC so you might as well embrace it. Oregon fans admittedly saw the light.
